What you will be responsible for:
- Supervising a team of six
- Assisting in the onboarding and training of new team members
- Supervise the operational activities within the warehouse
- Resolving daily operational issues
- Organizing scheduled maintenance for various machinery including overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, and trucks
- Assisting with general Warehouse storeman responsibilities
- Stock control / Daily Rolling Stocktakes
- Receiving in stock / managing transfers
- Customer order picking
Requirements
- Rotating AM and PM shifts (5.30AM – 2PM and 2PM – 10.30)
- Prior experience in a leading a busy warehouse environment
- Computer skills
- Good understanding of H&S compliance and best practices
- Forklift license (Preferred but, not essential)
- Ability to work confidently under pressure
