JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are seeking a Vulnerability Management Specialist to join our Managed Services Security team. In this operational role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and managing security vulnerabilities in Cloud environments, while collaborating with both clients and internal teams to ensure optimal security standards. You will also contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and compliance efforts to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Analyze and remediate client security vulnerabilities in collaboration with multi-disciplined teams.
•    Identify and implement automation or innovation opportunities to improve efficiency and add value.
•    Assist in conducting audits, ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, and proactively addressing audit requirements.
•    Maintain operational and security standards within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
•    Collaborate with clients and internal teams to continuously enhance vulnerability management practices.

Requirements

  • Must possess (or be able to obtain) Canadian security clearance for government sector work.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience analyzing and managing security vulnerabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys and Microsoft Vulnerability Management.
  • Experience with Cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Bachelor’s or college degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Security, or equivalent work experience.
  • Solid knowledge of NIST security frameworks preferred.
  • Experience with security automation, scripting, or policy automation is an asset.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
