So, what you'll do:
- Proactively Engage with Warm Leads - you’ll proactively make outbound calls and send proactive emails to customers referred by our automotive partners
- Successfully Convert Leads - you’ll proactively make outbound calls to both new leads and unconverted leads with the intention of converting the referral
- Qualify Customer Needs - you’ll understand each customer’s home setup, charging requirements, and eligibility to recommend the right solution
- Present Charging Options - you’ll talk customers through our products and services in a clear, friendly, and approachable way
- Convert Leads Into Loyal Customers - you’ll confidently guide customers through to purchase, hitting monthly sales and conversion targets
- Maintain Accurate Records - you’ll ensure the CRM is updated with lead activity, customer information, and sales progress
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally - you’ll work with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
- Champion Sustainability- you’ll be an advocate for EV adoption and Pod’s role in enabling the UK’s transition to cleaner mobility
- Champion our values - you’ll model Trust, Edge, and Care in all partner interactions, ensuring Pod is recognised as a credible charging solution, bringing the voice of the customer back to the business.
- At least 1 year’s experience in a telesales role (B2B or B2C)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Enthusiastic about working with and towards sales targets, with proven experience of doing so
- IT literate with confidence using CRM (ideally HubSpot) systems and sales tools
- Comfortable with both inbound and outbound calling, including cold calling
- Strong people skills – outgoing, personable, and able to quickly build rapport with customers
- Ability to communicate technical information in a simple, customer-friendly way
- Thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, motivated by hitting targets and achieving results
- Proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline management
- Passionate about sustainability, EV adoption, and the future of mobility.
- Passion for climate change, sustainability, or the EV industry
- Previous experience selling technical or home-install products
- Strong written communication skills for email engagement
- A team player who enjoys sharing best practices and contributing to a supportive culture.
