POSITION SUMMARY
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the production department across all locations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This leadership role drives departmental goals, ensures safe installation practices, promotes remarkable customer experiences, and fosters a strong team culture. You will provide vision, removes barriers, develops talent, and ensures alignment with the company’s purpose, mission, and values.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA)
- Cascades the company’s vision and provides clear direction to the finance and accounting team
- Recruits, selects, onboards, and trains accounting staff, ensuring their professional development
- Sets expectations, conducts performance evaluations, and holds employees accountable for meeting objectives
- Provides mentorship and growth opportunities for the team
- Partners with HR on performance-related decisions
- Remove barriers to ensure financial processes run smoothly and effectively
Departmental Goals & Operations
- Collaborate with leadership to develop annual production goals and action plans
- Ensures the team meets targets for project completion, installation quality, safety, labor efficiency, and revenue collection
- Monitors and adjusts operations to stay aligned with company objectives
- Takes corrective action when goals are not met and celebrates successes with the team
Customer Experience & Quality Assurance
- Ensures superior installation quality and safe installation practices
- Oversees issue resolution to deliver remarkable customer experiences
- Drives continuous improvement in service delivery and production processes
Culture & Team Development
- Acts as an ambassador and guardian of company and departmental culture
- Builds trust, pride, and camaraderie within the production team to strengthen retention
- Effectively addresses conflict and solves problems in a constructive manner
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or related field preferred
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction trades or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates success in production leadership
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, project management, and installation standards
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and performance metrics
- Proficiency with computers, mobile devices, and industry-related software/apps
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (Spanish language ability a plus)
- Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs. and work in crawl spaces or at floor level as needed
