Duties

Under the lead of a full performance specialist, performs highly structured entry-level work assignments designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher-level assignments.,Using acceptable systems administration methods and procedures monitors and troubleshoots systems availability.,Uses a number of guidelines that are directly applicable to the assignment. Applies system administration methods and procedures; performance monitoring methods; and analytical methods to verify security, operability and functionality.,Runs systems backups, file restoration and systems recovery. Serves as a member of a team responsible for planning and managing large-scale server deployment. Recognizes and refers problems to more experienced specialists.,Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles, and practices.
