Head of Curriculum en Sandwell College

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Curriculum to lead one of the faculties at Cadbury College. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position to provide maternity cover and offers an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role. You will have the chance to shape the curriculum, inspire colleagues, and drive academic excellence across the faculty.

This role combines leadership with hands-on teaching, ensuring high standards across the curriculum while supporting both staff and students. You will play a key role in shaping the faculty’s direction, from timetable planning to staff mentoring and student progress reviews. With a strong focus on quality assurance, data analysis, and compliance, you will also work closely with awarding bodies and the college leadership team. Additionally, you will oversee student attendance and retention, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

We are looking for a strong, proven leader with exceptional management skills and a passion for success. A commitment to meeting the needs of stakeholders and the local and regional community is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing Level 2 and 3 provision (T-Level experience is desirable), along with confident experience in managing a large team. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate staff and students to share a common set of values. The candidate should have high levels of energy and stamina, fostering a culture that encourages teamwork and ensures students perform at their best.

Teaching Qualifications & Salary Banding

To be eligible for our Qualified Lecturer salary banding (£31,837 - £48,160), you must hold one of the following teaching qualifications:
