A Distribution Lead Technician is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Distribution area. This includes monitoring the activity of the staff, being available to give answers and directions as needed. The Lead Tech will be responsible for ensuring that all orders for supplies are picked accurately and all patient care areas are efficiently replenished. Also, responsible for maintaining the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner. They ensure efficient and timely delivery of supplies and equipment to user departments and maintain accurate records on inventory and equipment.
Hours: Evenings
Minimum requirements:
- High school diploma
- 1+ years of hospital or industrial warehouse, distribution, or inventory control experience
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
- Mathematical ability for unit of measure conversions, receiving counts, and verification.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to speak and read English for training purposes and communications with patients and coworkers
Preferred requirements:
- 3+ years of hospital or industrial warehouse distribution or inventory control experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Material Management Software, etc.
Position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position.
