Position Duties
Key Responsibilities
As a Real Estate Secretary, you will:
- Serve as the first point of contact for taxpayers and visitors by providing courteous, accurate, and professional assistance.
- Review and update real estate records using deeds, wills, transfers, and other documentation from the Clerk of the Court.
- Process applications and correspondence related to tax relief, abatements, and land use assessments.
- Maintain organized files, handle mailings, and scan documents to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the the Chief Administrator of Real Estate and Reassessment and contribute to overall office efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Entry-level opportunity with the ability to defuse upset individuals and maintain composure in stressful situations and provide excellent customer service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.,) and comfortable with databases and digital filing systems.
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy in work quality.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
