We are currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Plover, WI.
About the role
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will ensure our plant equipment runs safely and efficiently. You'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical systems while ensuring compliance with OSHA and NEC/70E regulations. Using advanced tools and technical knowledge, you’ll diagnose problems, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement—all while keeping your work area clean and contamination-free.

Statement of Job
We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Maintenance Mechanic to support our production facility with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance. This role is essential to minimizing downtime, ensuring workplace safety, and contributing to the long-term success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on plant equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems
Install, modify, and maintain equipment in compliance with OSHA and NEC/70E standards
Respond to equipment trouble calls quickly and effectively
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to support projects and upgrades
Maintain clean, contamination-free work areas and equipment
Manage work orders and reporting in the CMMS system
Work occasionally outdoors and in environments with noise, chemicals, and fumes
Follow all safety, PPE, and GMP/food safety regulations
Participate in plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives
Occasionally operate forklifts or aerial lifts (valid forklift license required)
Special Requirements
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
High attention to detail to prevent product loss or equipment damage
Mental and physical ability to work in awkward positions and confined spaces
Must provide additional tools using company-sponsored allowance
Must comply with PPE standards and food safety practices
Scope of Authority

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies)
Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic certification, or willingness to obtain
Ability to lift 25–40 lbs frequently and perform physically demanding tasks
Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
Solid understanding of electrical systems including power distribution and control wiring
Experience with 480-volt 3-phase power, VFDs, and servo controllers preferred
Basic understanding of PLC functionality is a plus
Ability to clearly communicate technical issues with non-technical team members
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing
Regular use of hand and power tools in various positions and environments
Ability to ascend/descend stairs and ladders as needed
Exposure to hot, cold, humid, and noisy environments
Occasional outdoor work and handling of industrial chemicals
