Summary:
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is seeking a proactive and personable Rental Owner Relations Manager to serve as a key liaison between property owners and our internal operations team. This role ensures a seamless experience for our rental owners by managing communication, property care, and owner satisfaction across our vacation rental portfolio. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who values hospitality, accountability, and relationship management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive and professional work environment by demonstrating appreciation, clear communication, and mutual respect with team members and owners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned rental property owners, providing prompt, solution-oriented responses to questions, concerns, and service needs.
  • Oversee unit maintenance, upgrades, and condition standards in coordination with housekeeping, maintenance, reservations, and front office teams.
  • Arrange for necessary property improvements in accordance with management service agreements and owner expectations.
  • Prepare and review annual unit evaluations, assessing property condition and recommending enhancements to ensure units meet or exceed Sandestin’s standards.
  • Assist owners with reservation management, including blocking units for personal stays, maintenance, or renovations.
  • Provide insight and support related to monthly financial statements, occupancy rates, and performance metrics.
  • Promote owner satisfaction and retention through professional communication, transparency, and a focus on long-term relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience (3-5 years) in property management, vacation rentals, or hospitality will be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience managing teams and complex service requests.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to problem-solve in real time with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with property management systems and financial reports.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day; walking and standing are required for the remainder of the shift.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs. when needed.
  • Ability to handle simultaneous tasks and navigate between field and office settings.
  • Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity, and the ability to communicate clearly with owners and team members.
  • Must be able to work in all seasons and natural elements as needed.
  • Requires being able to walk several units throughout the property in a day if required.
  • Other duties as required
