The Work
The Senior SAP Materials Management Consultant (MM) Lead is responsible for implementing and configuring procurement and inventory management process and ensuring process aligned with company's strategic objectives. The Functional Consultant will work closely with Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to gather requirements and design solutions to meet business process design requirements
- Work with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet all functional requirements
- Business process design and system analysis
- Coordinate and manage across architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities
- Maintenance, enhancement and/or development of SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications
- Develop test strategies and manage large complex test efforts
- Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
- Manage overall cutover and migration activities across various modules
- Support execution of the production cutover plan; provide required documentation as evidence of successful completion
- Manage assembly processing cutover and migration activities
Here’s what you need:
- 7 + years SAP ECC or S/4HANA Order Management experience
- Expertise in SAP cutover planning, cutover execution management, and Microsoft Project
- Aerospace & Defense or U.S. Federal manufacturing/MRO project experience
- Team lead experience
Nice to have:
- Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
- Experience with the implementation and configuration of SAP PS structure: WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Material Requirement Planning, Project quotation, Goods issues, and other project management activities in SAP PS
- Relevant SAP certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Eligibility Requirements:
- US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
- Minimum of an active Secret Clearance
- Natural born US citizenship
- You must live local to St. Louis, MO (preferred) or Philadelphia, PA OR be willing to travel to St. Louis every week Monday-Friday
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
