Managing Director, D&A | Forensic & Litigation Consulting
About the Role
We are involved in complex, global and high-profile litigation, arbitration and investigations combining end-to-end risk advisory, investigative and disputes expertise to deliver holistic solutions for our clients.
What You’ll Do
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel at the Team Lead level.
Manages activities of two or more teams or departments.
Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, division and and/or customers.
Responsible for managing organizational and/or contractual project budgets.
Manages projects in a complex environment, ensures retention of key clients and uses in-depth industry knowledge and experience to identify/deliver innovative solutions for the client.
Develops specific marketing plans and activities.
Leads major proposals.
Develops relationships and identifies opportunities that lead to significant sales or referrals.
Acts as role model for mentoring, coaching, and learning.
Actively facilitates development in client or project setting, as well as through formal learning experiences.
Actively contributes to successful recruitment of candidates and retention of existing team members.
Works with various practice leaders to facilitate cross-functional teams to address complex client needs or opportunities.
Works to ensure a quality product, as well as delivery of all work within established timeframes
Maintain professional image within the firm and project same to those outside the firm
How You’ll Grow
As a Managing Director, you will develop in-depth knowledge of your clients' objectives and challenges in order to design and implement innovative strategies to assist them through their current difficulties and prepare them for the future.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Minimum 10 years of experience
Travel required to clients and to FTI office(s).
Preferred Skills
Experience in the collection and analysis of complex operational and transactional data
Experience in working with clients on matters involving high-stakes litigation, significant monetary settlements or damages, and intensive regulatory investigations
Ability to work as a project leader on matters requiring analytical methodology, database design and complex data modeling.
