Position:

Dean of Students

Location: 

Bainbridge Elementary (Grades K-5)

Certifications: 

- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or advanced degree in educational administration

- Demonstrated aptitude and/or ability for performing the task required

- Such other qualifications of academic, professional, and personal excellence as may be specified

Qualifications: 

- Provides planning, orientation, and disciplinary assistance to total staff

- Provides an in-service instruction on disciplinary matters

- Reviews and evaluates the effectiveness of disciplinary programs

- Monitors and administers the disciplinary plan of the school       

- Maintains proper documentation of all student discipline incidents

- Assists teachers in resolving student disciplinary and behavior problems

- Communicates with parents about student disciplinary and behavior problems

- Works with guidance counselors on behavioral and disciplinary problems

- Assumes the responsibility for the attendance plan of the school

- Coordinates field trip requests

- Assists moderators in the management of the Student Council and other student organizations

- Evaluates the job performance of building custodial staff

- Maintains professional appearance while serving as administrator and/or supervisor

- Promotes good public relations for the school district and community

- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing assistance to the Principal in the administration of the elementary program.

Salary:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience
