JOB GOAL: The Interim Assistant Site Supervisor will be responsible to support the Site Supervisor with the daily operation of one after school (ASAP) middle school site and involved in supporting a site supervisor in the daily operations of one before school (Early Risers) elementary site. Duties include, but are not limited to: orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation of high school staff; overall program design; communication with families and school personnel; and enforcement of policies and procedures regarding safety and quality. |
Desired Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Five years or more of experience working with youth in an organized setting
- One year of administrative experience or at least six credits in management, administration, or staff supervision.
- Ability to lead large groups, communicate effectively with families and school personnel, supervise staff, and respond proactively to a variety of challenges.
- Be CPR/First Aid certified within the first 3 months of employment and keep current throughout employment.
- Understanding of and commitment to the principles and practices of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.
Skills:
- Demonstrated aptitude for work to be performed
- Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish and Portuguese, are highly desirable
- Candidates should have a passion for working with students, families, and colleagues
- Candidates must be flexible and collaborative
- Candidates must be able to multitask in a fast-paced, supportive environment that nurtures student growth
- Candidates must be organized and able to meet ongoing, time-sensitive deadlines for work production

- communicate with others so that information received and given is understood and accurately communicated;
- communicate and collaborate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members in person, via video conference, on the telephone, and/or in writing;
