Job Summary:
Are you passionate about travel and skilled at turning wanderlust into bookings? We’re seeking a Travel Sales Consultant who thrives on both converting inbound leads and proactively reaching out to new customers. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys crafting unforgettable travel experiences while driving sales through strategic outreach.

Primary Functions:
Inbound Sales (Lead Conversion):
- Provide a warm and personalized introduction to Collette.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective travelers via phone, email, website.
- Understand customer preferences and recommend tailored solutions.
- Convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, itineraries, and air.
Outbound Sales (Prospecting and Outreach):
- Identify and engage potential customers through leads – meta, hubspot, competitions, Sitecore and other outbound campaigns as assigned.
- Promote seasonal offers, exclusive packages, and loyalty programs.
- Build relationships with repeat travelers and referral networks.
- Drive interest in new destinations and experiences.
Other Duties:
- Maintain accurate records and reporting as requested
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to optimize campaigns
- Collaborate with Au team by providing feedback on D2C travellers – their needs, hurdles, competitive landscape
- Stay informed about travel trends, visa requirements, and safety updates
- Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after travel
- Create, maintain, and update database of customers with complete information and emails.
- Maintain a timely customer follow up strategy.
- Meet or exceed the sales goals determined by Management and your Sales Team.
- Accurately complete a customer booking in our reservation system.
- Regularly Communicate with manager and team members to review lead rotations, closing techniques, updates to policies and products, and other important updates.
- Continued commitment to product education to better service customer calls.
Knowledge & Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in travel sales or customer-facing roles.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- A genuine passion for travel and helping others explore the world.
- Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups with precision.
- Familiarity with booking platforms and CRM tools.
- Resilience, curiosity, and a proactive mindset.
Pay structure: Hourly Rate plus Incentive
