In this role you will:
• Supervise, lead, and manage Locators, Meter Readers, Construction crews, Traffic and Metering crews, as well as the maintenance and installation of related facilities.
• Organize and schedule work according to the number of locates and routes on billing and lighting tickets among work crews.
• Schedule appointments as needed with electrical contractors, commercial office, city electrical inspectors, electric engineering, traffic engineering and members of the public. improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability
• Provide direction in emergency situations. Ensures a lack of disruption in all previously scheduled work.
• Meet electrical contractors and engineers in the field and spot audits crews work
• Recommend or advise customers in service installation according to the Rules and Specifications Handbook as well as providing consistency with past practice.
• Supervise crews in other departments as needed when the acting Supervisor is absent.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and be available for 24-hour on-call duty. They should possess knowledge of basic electrical concepts, including single and three-phase systems, and a strong understanding of system operations and procedures such as switching orders, outages, reconnects, and emergency response. The candidate must have skills and mental development equivalent to a high school diploma, along with at least six years of progressively responsible experience in the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) field, including two years of supervisory experience. Preferred qualifications include a four-year college degree and experience in supervising electrical maintenance or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Possession of a Class A CDL license is required.
