We are hiring a Warehouse Lead, Monday through Friday (8 am - 4:30 pm) to supervise, coordinate, and execute warehouse activities to ensure a safe and efficient operation. This full-time hourly position will report to the Facility Manager to support our customers with high-quality, accurate and timely service and will occasionally require weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak season.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Keep the warehouse up to code by reviewing safety codes, layouts, and security procedures.
- Coordinate and monitor orders, inbound/outbound loads, and inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate and work with the site yard jockey to swap trailers around when needed
- Plan and communicate shift objectives, monitor performance, and address needs with the team.
- Perform daily morning yard checks and follow procedures there after
- Quality check on loaded trailers
- Ensure Cycle counts are performed weekly as required
- Coach, develop, and ensure appropriate training of employees to manage performance.
- Assist with customer physical inventories/tours and offer continuous improvement.
- Learn and understand customers and step in when needed to perform those tasks.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to respond to requests promptly and resolve issues quickly.
- Effective skills in problem-solving, planning, staffing, and executing warehouse operations.
- Ability to lead a diverse workforce; effectively develop employees and communicate objectives.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Outlooks, Excel and technology equipment including (RF) , Scanners, KBX- Tops (preferred).
- Experience operating lift truck attachments. 2 years forklift experience preferred with single double attachments
- Experience loading and unloading trucks using lift truck equipment
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum three years of previous leadership experience in operations.
- Minimum three year in a fast past environment picking, loading and unloading

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time through hot and cold temperatures.
- Ability to repetitively twist or turn to drive in reverse; and stand, climb, kneel, stoop and squat, as needed.
- Ability to turn steering wheel on lift truck requiring full rotation of arms and shoulders.
- Must be willing and able to safely lift up to 60 pounds, and slide, push, or pull cases up to 150 pounds.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company.
