Job Summary
Lendz Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Market & Pricing Analyst to join our Secondary Markets team. This role will analyze both external market trends and internal performance metrics to ensure Lendz remains competitively positioned and operationally efficient. As Market & Pricing Analyst, you’ll monitor daily market movements, benchmark pricing against competitors, and deliver insights that inform strategic decisions across pricing, profitability, and process improvement. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, advanced Excel skills, and experience turning complex data into actionable recommendations. This is a fully on-site position based at our Fort Lauderdale, Florida office.
What You’ll Do
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Track daily rate sheets and market movements to benchmark Lendz pricing against key competitors.
- Identify competitive risks, pricing gaps, and emerging market opportunities.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders to support strategic pricing adjustments.
Pricing & Secondary Support
- Review and validate broker price-match requests.
- Prepare documentation for the Secondary department and monitor concession trends.
- Support margin optimization and rate strategy decisions.
Performance & Financial Insights
- Analyze pull-through rates, conversion metrics, and pipeline trends to highlight areas for improvement.
- Partner with leadership to drive enhancements in pricing, operations, and AE/broker performance.
- Support finance and accounting with margin analysis, cost-to-fund modeling, and profitability dashboards.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate, structured databases of rate, volume, and performance data.
- Develop and update dashboards and visualizations in Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or mortgage secondary markets preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Tableau or Power BI highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, data-centric environment.
