The Federal Assistant Program Director is responsible for the direct supervision of the Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana (VOAOHIN) Federal Bureau of Prisons and US Probation programming staff and clients; and immediately reporting observations or concerns to the Program Director.  This position is 100 percent devoted to the federal contract and maintains operational control within the mission of Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana (VOAOHIN) and meets contract, funding and/or accreditation requirements.

Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social service, or related, field with at least two years work experience required and two years supervisor experience preferred.   The position requires demonstrated ability in staff training, supervision, leadership skills, and oral and written communication.   Core character qualities needed are dependability, integrity and fairness.
