Andrology Laboratory Technician en Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York

Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York, one of the country's most prestigious fertility centers, is looking for an Andrology Laboratory Technician at our Brooklyn office.

Responsibilities Include:

• Routine sperm and blood analysis by receiving specimens from patients or staff, accessioning samples, performing procedures and ensure results are reported accurately
• Perform quality control procedures and maintain equipment, ensure laboratory quality assurance and quality control programs meet all requirements and industry standards as established by qualified outside agencies 

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• This person will work a 5-day schedule, which will include regular weekend and holiday rotation
• Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related science and experience in laboratory setting is required
• Proficiency in handling human tissue and following strict laboratory protocols is strongly preferred
• Proficiency using MS Office, patient EMR systems and ROCHE systems is strongly preferred
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills is required
