Position Summary

Westminster Village North is looking for an Operations Intern to join the spring intern cohort for 2026. This immersive opportunity will give hands-on, real-world experience working with the operation executive leadership and collaborating across departments. The Operations Intern will focus on:

  • Assist the ED or AED with daily operational activities.
  • Support compliance efforts by helping review policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
  • Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives, including data collection and analysis.
  • Support budgeting and financial monitoring processes.
  • Gain exposure to survey readiness and regulatory inspections.
  • Work on assigned projects to improve facility operations, resident satisfaction, or staff engagement.
  • Maintain confidentiality and always adhere to processional and ethical standards.
  • Assisting with resident satisfaction surveys, the development of our enhanced assisted living program and home health organization

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Pursuing a degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Strong interest in long-term care and seniors.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and families.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
