This position is an in-office position and will assist the Claims Department with managing the Call Center and Administrative teams capturing first notice of loss data, creating new claim records, handling incoming calls directed across the enterprise.    

Administratively, the role ensures accurate and timely claim file document requests, vendor payments, stop payments, CLUE, arbitration matters, regulatory compliance responses, mail, customer service surveys and duties as assigned. The position will manage claim dispatch and assist with work-matching.   

The supervisor will cross train staff to perform effectively between the Call Center and Administrative environments. The position requires deep attention to detail and exceptional communication and listening skills.  

                  

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strong PC knowledge and keyboarding skills
  • Deep skills in Adobe and Microsoft Office products, including Excel where the role may create, maintain and manage spreadsheets and pivot tables.
  • Data-entry - Route and index documents accurately and efficiently to our systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills: professional, courteous, and efficient
  • Operate high speed scanners, printers, and other office equipment as needed.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously throughout the business day.
  • Be able to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
  • Prior compensated experience in a direct customer-facing role

Minimum Requirements:

  • Prior compensated experience in a direct customer-facing role

  • High school diploma and vocational or college training in business management, accounting, or bookkeeping

  • 5 years of call center experience

  • 2 years of leadership or management experience

  • 2 years of insurance claims handling and supervisory experience

  • Preferred: Experience with large-scale enterprise-level administrative responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, legal regulations, and claims adjusting procedures

  • Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate and develop a team
