About the role -
We’re looking for a passionate product person to join our team and take a leading role in the management and development of new features and functionality, including the integration of AI-driven capabilities, for our in-house CRM. Based either out of our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne office, or fully remote, the successful candidate will be charged with representing the needs and wants of one of the business capability streams our CRM delivers on, and identifying opportunities to enhance it with intelligent automation and predictive insights. They will be responsible for prioritisation and evaluation of features, stakeholder engagement, pitching the work for investment, working with design and development teams to bring a feature to life, deploying into market and following through on measurement and adoption. With a natural technical aptitude or background, with a strong curiosity for AI and data science, and a highly analytical nature, solving complex problems and logic challenges will be a breeze for this candidate. As part of a multi-discipline team, they will have professional communication skills across various channels, to support communication to stakeholders but also our user network.
Key Responsibilities -
- Work as part of a cross-functional team to prioritise and deliver product increments efficiently and effectively by balancing investment against return of each feature with a clear understanding of desirability (of our users), viability (for our business model) and feasibility (of whether it can be achieved technically).
- Provide vision and direction to the team and stakeholders, championing the strategic application of AI to solve user and business problems, and create pitches of work for eight week cycles, in collaboration with development, design and business team members.
- Adhere to and drive accountability across each stage of the product life-cycle, as prescribed in our handbook.
- Be a leader in the Product Management team providing input from the business capability they own, into new features, practice, the roadmap, our AI strategy, and product vision.
- Identify and validate opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, and data science to enhance user workflows, automate tasks, and deliver predictive insights.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize tasks, and allocate time efficiently.
- Update short, mid and long term planning tools and communicate delivery windows with key stakeholders.
- Effective collaboration with key stakeholders, fostering a network for continuous learning and representation of customer and business needs.
- Run pilots for new features and evaluate their suitability for launch across all markets.
- Engage regularly with local user base in each market and solicit feedback regularly and often on new, piloted and existing features to identify areas of improvement.
- Mitigate impediments impacting successful team completion of pitch and business goals.
- Stay on top of competitor analysis for the business capability they own, and emerging AI trends in the CRM space, identifying weaknesses and opportunities for the platform to mitigate or leverage respectively.
- Monitor analytics of the product, including the performance and impact of AI models, for areas of improvement to drive user adoption and satisfaction skyward.
