Shipping Analyst en None

Primary duties:

• Load INTL containers
• Load trailer load shipments
• Load all live loads
• Close all spotted trailers
• Communicate with all traffic teams
• Communicate with all Leads in IPC
• Locate product and assist shippers
• Pick, pack and ship orders when needed

Key responsibilities:

• Provide key and helpful information at staff meetings
• Manage time and set priorities for tasks
• Assist the supervisors in developing team goals and objectives
• Help in maintaining correct inventory
• Send emails on errors found on orders
• Send emails on inventory adjustments
• Fill back orders
• Maintain and promote ISO standards
• Barcode product
• To meet or exceed customer expectations
• All other assigned duties

Job relationship:

• Reports directly to the Supervisor of Distribution
• Work with all departments as needed for any order concerns or inquiries
• Work closely with all Supervisors and Leads on the floor
• Work with all Distribution personnel
• Work with personnel in coordinating material between buildings

Specifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have computer knowledge
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of manufacturing
• IPC parts knowledge helpful
• Good communications skills
• Leadership ability
• Know the basics on Employee Portal & NetSuite
• Have a basic understanding of the manifest shipping system
• Ability to train new employees
• Ability to comprehend written and/or verbal communications
• Understanding of the Barcode system

Authority:

• Authority to stop production for non-conforming quality or safety compliance
• To support and enforce company policies and procedures
• Report non-conforming material and safety non-compliance to management
• Make decisions on accept or reject according to quality specifications
• Make logical decisions based on experience and/or company policy
• Authorize backorders based on policy and inventory
• Delegate responsibility and move personnel to needed work areas
