We provide specialized care plans specific to the unique needs of each resident. We work with families, doctors, and other support groups to ensure we provide the right amount of care and attention, but not so much that we inhibit independence.

Job Description:We are seeking a Full-Time Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our team! The perfect candidate will have a warm and outgoing personality with great customer service skills. You will perform clerical and administrative functions in our Assisted Living Community to help drive company success. Computer skills are necessary, and experience working in Assisted Living or other medical environment is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Greet residents, staff, and visitors, providing excellent customer service and courteous telephone skills.
- Collect and maintain resident Medi-Cal information; prepare Medi-Cal billing claims using MBill software.
- Review Medi-Cal weekly and maintain current resident records.
- Pull weekly reports from Eldermark, including Point of Care, Incident Reports LIC624, Medication Record Count, and LIC 9020.
- Assist with resident admissions and new hire employee documentation.
- Coordinate applicant interviews and new hire orientation.
- Audit inflow of paperwork for Residents and Employees. Scan and file documents electronically; update documentation for Level of Care changes.
- Prepare bus transportation forms for the driver weekly.
- Print and assemble Marketing Packets, Employee folders, and Resident Agreement folders; prepare new resident gift bags.
- Sort mail and distribute to assigned boxes.
- Maintain strong organizational skills, handling multiple tasks and working well in stressful situations.
- Keep documents organized in electronic format using Google Docs, Eldermark, and Microsoft Office; understand scan folder and naming conventions.
- Know how to properly open/close the office including the alarm system, and respond appropriately to door and fire alarms.
- Support management and complete other duties as requested.
- Uphold company policies, safety procedures, and maintain confidentiality as defined by the Employee Handbook.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Enjoys working with seniors and thrives in a team setting.
- Experience or willingness to learn Medi-Cal billing and required documentation.
- Proficiency with Google Documents, Eldermark software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a post-offer fingerprint background check and employment physical.
