Hatchery Sanitation
Full Time – Hourly
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The base hiring pay for this role is $xx per hour/week.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
 - Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
 
Job Responsibilities
- Load Trays, baskets, boxes and equipment in washer
 - Ensure all hatching equipment is 100% free of debris
 - Drain and fill water in tanks twice a day
 - Scrub and disinfect all carts used to move eggs and poults
 - Complete sanitation of the wash room at the end of each day
 - Other duties as assigned
 
Minimum Qualifications
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
 - Able to abide by strict bio-security guidelines
 - Basic math skills
 - Ability to grasp and pinch repeatedly with both hands, hand coordination to rotate wrists and manipulate poults with fingers and thumb of both hands
 - Be able to work in a moderately dusty environment continuously
 - Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
 - Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
