The Junior Analyst – Vendor Creation and Payments is responsible for supporting the vendor onboarding process, maintaining accurate vendor master data, and ensuring timely and compliant processing of payments. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Possess basic knowledge of business processes (P2P, O2C, & R2R).
• Maintain and update detailed SOP documents.
• Work on analyzing process document exceptions to resolve issues.
• Collect and verify vendor documents (e.g., PAN, GST, bank details, registration certificates).
• Create and update vendor profiles in the ERP system (D365).
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during vendor onboarding.
• Coordinate with procurement and legal teams to validate vendor contracts and terms.
• Review and validate vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.
• Process payments timely via bank transfers, checks, NEFT/RTGS, or digital platforms.
• Monitor payment schedules and ensure adherence to agreed payment terms.
• Collaborate with banks and internal teams to resolve payment-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.
• Ensure compliance with SEPA standards for European payments.
• Validate vendor documentation, including IBAN, BIC, and tax identifiers.
• Ensure compliance with IRS regulations (e.g., W-9, TIN validation).
• Responsible for multiple accounting booking entries in our ERP system. Backup of our accounting team for various tasks
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• Minimum 2-4 years of working experience in international accounting
• Must speak English fluently- other languages a plus.
• Good Team player
• Good communication skills
• Great organizational skills and a good level of working by him/herself
• Great ability and drive for quality, accuracy, and detail
• Ability to work under pressure.
