Are you ready to take your mechanical skills to the next level in a dynamic mining environment? Genesis Minerals is on the lookout for passionate and skilled Light Vehicle Mechanics to support our thriving Leonora Operations. This is your chance to be part of a high-performing team where your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency of our fleet.

Whether you're seeking a Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) from Perth, Drive-in Drive-out (DIDO) from Kalgoorlie, or prefer a residential role, we’ve got options to suit your lifestyle on a Lifestyle 8/6 roster. Reporting to the LV/HV Workshop Supervisor, as a key member of our maintenance team you will:

• Provide efficient and effective light vehicle maintenance support to our Leonora/Laverton Operations.

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.

• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.

• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity

• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)

• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.

• Contributing to the Maintenance Section to ensure that the Processing Department delivers to plan in respect of production, gold recovery and cost per tonne.

We would love to hear from you if you have​:

• Certificate III Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Proven relevant work experience

• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles

• Strong ability to work effectively within a team

• Strong communication skills, including communicating with people from different backgrounds and cultures

• Ability to work to tight deadlines on multiple tasks

• High level of enthusiasm for the work with high performance goals
