Job Objective:
To provide a positive donor experience by providing exceptional customer service while efficiently receiving, pricing, and sorting donations. Support the overall operations of a fast-paced Donation Center to maintain an organized and productive environment. This position reports to the Donation Center Manager who evaluates performance annually.

Essential Job Functions:
- Greet and assist donors at the Donation Drive-Thru, professionally unloading and handling donations while placing them in the appropriate staging area.
 - Efficiently process donations by sorting, sizing, hanging, and accurately pricing items before moving them to designated staging areas.
 - Help maintain a secure and safe environment for both employees and donors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
 - Assist with loading and unloading trucks to facilitate the movement of merchandise .
 - Keep the donation center clean, organized, and running efficiently.
 - Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
 
Qualifications
Required Education and Skills:
- Basic knowledge of current clothing, shoe styles, furniture, toys, wares, brand names, materials, and pricing.
 - Ability to read, write, and perform simple math calculations.
 - Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with donors, customers, and coworkers.
 - Effective verbal and written communication skills.
 - Ability to follow standard retail procedures and operational guidelines.
 
Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the United States.
 
- Flexible availability.
 - Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, push and pull, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
 - Ability to effectively and safely use standard office and light industrial equipment.
