Responsibilities

  • Participate in and complete Hess Services’ CDL training program.
     
  • Safely operate company vehicles under supervision and in accordance with DOT regulations.
     
  • Learn to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
     
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and securing loads.
     
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required.
     
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  3. Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.  
  4. Must be able to effectively communicate writing and or verbal to customers and co-workers.
  5. Ability to read, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  6. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 
  7. . Must be able to read, write and speak English. 
  8. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  9. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  10. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  11. Ability to use hand and power tools.
  12. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, caustic chemicals and vibration. Additionally, may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and high precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is frequently moderate to high. 
  3. Must comply with PPE and safety policies and procedures.
