Optimus Healthcare is looking for a part-time Data Analyst to work with our 340B program. This is a hybrid position and the hours are either 20 or 25 hours per week.
The 340B Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the operational and compliance needs of the 340B program. As reporting demands continue to grow, this position ensures timely and accurate data submission, monitoring, and analysis to maintain program integrity and optimize performance. This positions requires a blend of technical and analytical skills, along with strong communication to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders when necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Timely prepare, submit, and monitor data required for 340B ESP and other reporting platforms.
- Manage data exchanges with third-party administrators (TPAs), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the implementation and tracking of the upcoming rebate model.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data alignment with program goals.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues independently.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency based on data analysis findings.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for all claims, data submissions, and communications.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong presentation skills to present findings clearly and concisely.
Strong analytical and independent thinker; proactive and problem-solving abilities with an exceptional eye for detail.
Organized, detail-oriented and committed to the success and compliance of the 340B program.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
- Strong expertise with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) and database querying languages (e.g., SQL).
- Familiar with programming languages (Python, R, SQL), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), advanced Excel functions, and statistical concepts.
EDUCATION:
A bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or healthcare data analytics. In lieu of a degree, seven (7+) years of experience as a data analyst.
EXPERIENCE:
Two to four years of proven experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role with a bachelor’s degree.
- Background in pharmacy or pharmaceutical operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in data management tools and systems relevant to 340B operations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: English/bi-lingual preferred
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, the CompTIA Data+, the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, and the Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) preferred
