SOFINOL SA is a Nestlé Oil Company that produces specialty oils, strategic ingredients for Nestlé Nutrition and other clients in food and nutrition sector. As Customer Service & Import and Export Specialist, you will ensure outstanding service on Import and Export Operations, managing End2End Order to delivery process in triangular & direct transactions.

 

 

A Day in the Life of a Customer Service & Import and Export Specialist

 

  • Communicate directly with dedicated portfolio of Customers and understand and report their requirements to involved stakeholders (QA, Laboratory, Logistics and Production)
  •  Create Sales Orders based on Customers’ requests, follow up to ensure timely production and release of orders, coordinate shipment preparation & dispatch in coordination with 3PL warehouse and arrange transport with freight forwarder (sea, air and road shipments).
  • Coordinate execution of the Imports / Exports related activities & create/coordinate shipping documentation, creation of Billing (PFIs / final Invoices) and filing for HC, Certificate of export and COO, coordination with Cantonal authorities on release of certificates
  • Manage customer claims and deliver service level to enhance satisfaction and ensure timely resolution of eventual issues which will be delighting customer

 

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Solid experience in a market/business environment in Foreign Trade & Customs and International customer service (export & transportation management knowledge: Incoterms, Export & Shipping documents)
  • Conversant with International Trade and Commercial Terms
  • Deep understanding of the concept of virtual/physical stock flow and inventory (transfers, release, availability, dispatch steps)
  • knowledge of markets’ local regulations (Customs, Transportation, Sanitary)
  • Computer literate (MS Office, SAP or equivalent ERP, Master Data modules)
  • Assertive communication, proactiveness, able to work both independently and as a Team player, reacting quickly to a fast changing and challenging environment
  • Professional fluency in English (minimum C1 level) is a must have, Italian and other languages are an advantage
