Pay Range: $19-22/hour
WORK HOURS: 6AM – 2:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain plant break room, main office, main office break room and restrooms daily and points throughout the day as needed (floors, sinks, toilets, counters, refrigerator, and popcorn machine).
- Monitor all break room and restroom supply inventory at appropriate levels.
- Clean adjacent break room hallway and stairs by sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, daily or as needed.
- Clean stairs from break room to production daily and as needed throughout the shift.
- Handle and dilute chemicals used to clean facilities.
- Maintain supply storage room by organizing and maintaining inventories.
- Collect multi-use garments, flour tubes socks, freezer wear, and dough table sheets, from production floor areas to sort, launder, wash, dry, fold and store.
- Inspect and replace multi-use garments, flour tubes/socks, freezer wear, gloves, and dough table sheets as needed
- Distribute clean laundry to designated locations for daily use on the production floor.
- Clean and maintain washer and dryer machines.
- Empty trash bins restrooms, breakrooms and offices
- Provide assistance with employee recognition meals, and events. Includes setup, serving, and cleanup
- Maintain conference room readiness for scheduled and unscheduled visits/interviews/meetings. Maintain clean floors, remove leftover supplies, PPE and reposition chairs.
- Manage offered refreshments, condiments and utensils levels in both employee breakrooms
- Works with and communicates with sanitation and operations manager supply necessities and levels.
- Can and may be asked to detail cleaning functions in-scope and out-of-scope areas preparation for audits and special visits
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior custodial experience in a manufacturing plant preferred, but not required
- Applies the food safety and quality principles as described in the Marzetti Corporate Food Safety and Quality Manual and internal Marzetti Frozen Pasta policies, training and procedures in all applicable aspects of departmental and job functions.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to demonstrate basic English communication skills.

Works in a manufacturing environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, read, sit, stand, walk, climb, crouch, lift, reach, grasp and bend while moving about the facility. Must be able to move 40 - 50 pounds a distance of 25 feet or more at various frequencies and or intervals. Must be able to stand for an 8 – 10 hour shift (sometimes longer) with regular breaks while performing repetitive tasks. May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. The employee may be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts/equipment. The noise level is loud in the plant. Ear protection, eye/face protection, hair/beard nets, slip-resistant shoes, and gloves are required as necessary in accordance with company GMP and safety standards.
