EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED AS CASHIER:

• Handle cash, checks, credit cards and financing
• Count till (cash) bags at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying that all transactions were done correctly and till balances at the end of each shift
• Maintain the front office appearance by keeping everything neat and clean
• File the daily invoices; call the bank on all out of state checks and temporary checks to verify that the checks will clear
• Call the finance company to verify information on customers account (balance due, account balance, available credit)
• Copy and match all finance approvals; process special orders and handwritten tickets
• Take account payments for fabric checkouts or other misc. payments
• Perform any other duties as directed by management

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers; computer experience required; basic mathematical skills required; attention to detail; ability to communicate effectively and positively with internal and external customers; knowledge of employment and safety procedures.
