  • SAFETY practices MUST be exercised by each operator at all times. 
  • Use safety devices and equipment provided.
  • Refer to shop manual procedures and types of edge finishing.
  • Finishers will set rolls on finish table, straighten spirals so they are uniform and connect panels with connecting crimp.
  • Once table load is set up, confirm “spirals per foot” from the entry on the shop order.
  • Apply tension and trim spirals.
  • Square the belt.
  • Weld edges of belt in accordance with type of edge required.
  • Inspect belt.
  • Take belt to shipping department once approved by department supervisor
