Our Data Analyst - MRCC performs quantitative and qualitative research using statistics to analyze contact center, branch, digital, transactional, competitive intelligence and industry standards to recommend and guide efforts around these channels. Write SQL code to develop enterprise analytics to create actionable insights. Recommends process improvement based on research and technical analysis. Independently drives data analysis and develops insights for use by Management.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of eBranch data to provide insight into reasons for calls, employee performance, forecast variances, KPI variances and other data relative to eBranch performance. Analyze data to identify trends, outline causes and reasons for trends and recommend actions to improve. Write SQL code to develop enterprise analytics and create actionable insights.
- Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends and patterns in complex data sets to develop recommendations to be used in promoting and making recommendations in the digital and transactional channels for the organization.
- Maintain appropriate databases and data systems for the department. Implements data collection systems and updates. Acquires and abstracts primary and secondary data from existing internal or external data sources.
- Develops graphs, reports and presentations. Performs statistical analysis upon request. Creates and presents quality dashboards.
- Assists in administration of the contact center phone system keeping up with requests for user changes and administrative duties within the platform.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Knowledge and Skills
ExperienceThree years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
Education/Certifications/LicensesA college degree.
Interpersonal SkillsA significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.
Other SkillsStrong analytical spreadsheet and communication skills, demonstrated ability to handle multiple project simultaneously, transactional data, relational and dimensional data sources, competitive analysis, familiarity with SQL & Microsoft Power BI is a plus, survey research and statistical analysis software, mapping software, and online data services. Problem-solving and teamworking skills are also essential.

Starting Range: $62,342.04 - $69,763.72
Full Range: $59,373.38 - $89,060.07

Physical RequirementsIs able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working ConditionsMust be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
