The mission of the position is to steer the Supply Chain operations of the assigned asset lines of several Strategic Business Units catering to highly demanding customer segments eg. automotive and aerospace. The key purpose of the role is to ensure high performing supply planning tasks such replenishment planning, rough cut capacity planning, inventory planning end customer service performance and operational cost control, of his portfolio and assets responsibility. In addition, the Network Supply Planning Head Facilitates the Sales & Operations executive Meeting for her/his respective SBUs and ensures information interchange and decisions during the S&OP Cycle. NW SP Head also has the responsibility to secure proper New Product Introduction, phase In and Out, management for her/his respective portfolio. The Network Supply Planning Head manages NW Team Leaders and NW Supply Planners for the respective assets group.
What you´ll do
- End-to-end control of the supply chains of the assigned asset lines
- Optimization with strategic mindset throughout the supply chain networks
- Identification of Continuous Improvement opportunities, planning and execution of changes
- Acting as interface to Operations as well as Sales and Marketing
- Follow up on destroyed or scrap products, obsolete or non-fit elements/outputs, etc.
- Manage a total of approx. 30-40 employees, located in Budapest and Barcelona offices via 3 - 5team leaders
- Report weekly to the Head of Supply Planning Europe for Adhesives Technologies, and monthly to the European Board of Operations and Supply Chain Management
What makes you a good fit
- 8+ years professional experience in Supply chain
- 5+ years of experience with People and Stakeholder management
- Cross-functional understanding in Demand Planning, Production Planning, Production, Supply Chain Execution, Logistics, OTC
- Fluent English is a must
- Proven Experience in project management and End-to-End vision
- Disruptive mindset to question status quo inline with New Generation of Planning Systems Capabilities
- Strong Innovation focus, Excellent Communication skills and Organizational Transformation experience
- Strategic thinkin and X-Functions process optimization, planning & organizing costing & budgeting
