JOB TITLE: Relationship Manager - Commercial Banking -  SME Trading Sector - Norfolk

SALARY: £59,850 to £66,500

LOCATION: Norwich

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least one day per week, or 20% of your time, at your local office. You'll also be expected to travel to meet with clients as part of this role.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful Business & Commercial Banking team in the Norfolk Trading Region.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering a range of lending solutions, including Term Loans, Working Capital facilities such as Invoice Finance, Hire Purchase, and Trade Finance.
  • Supporting clients with deposit products and a broad suite of complementary banking services.
  • Proactively growing your portfolio by deepening relationships and introducing additional elements of the bank’s proposition to existing clients.
  • Playing a key role in the local market—identifying new business opportunities and representing the organisation within the professional community.
  • Acting as a change ambassador—embracing new tools and technologies that enhance both client and colleague experiences, while supporting your team and region in achieving shared goals.

  • People & Collaboration Skills: A growth mindset and a proactive approach to adopting tools and practices that improve client engagement. Able to demonstrate the unique value of face-to-face relationship management.
  • Risk Management Capability: Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks, ensuring compliance and sound decision-making.
