We’re looking for a dedicated Intensive Supports Supervisor to join our residential supports with behavioral focus team in Anchorage, Alaska. This role is key to ensuring that people receiving intensive services live with dignity, purpose, and opportunities for growth.
Hope is a non-profit organization that has been serving Alaskans who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenges since 1968. Our mission is to provide supports that build independence, promote health and safety, and create community connections.
Requirements include:
Coach, mentor, and develop leadership staff to foster a strong, skilled, and compassionate workforce.
Provide direct support for staff scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Oversee implementation of individual plans including Plans of Care, Treatment Plans, Risk Management Plans, and behavior support strategies to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Ensure homes and services meet agency and licensing standards, including levels of supervision - visiting environments at least twice per month to monitor quality and provide hands-on guidance.
Respond to emergencies, assist in managing challenging behaviors, and ensure coverage for emergency situations
Coordinate with internal and external team members—including Care Coordinators, Behavior Analysts, and family members—to ensure aligned, person-centered support.
Ensure all documentation, service tracking, and reporting is completed accurately and on time.
Monitor budgets to assure mission critical targets are met, and ensure services are delivered efficiently and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
What We're Looking For:
Leadership experience in behavioral health, disability services, or a related field.
Strong skills in staff supervision, training, and development.
Familiarity with behavior support strategies and risk management
