The Role
As Butchery Supervisor, you'll be involved in all aspects of meat preparation, stock management, customer service, and team development—ensuring we maintain the highest standards of presentation and hygiene.
Pay Rate: £12.21 – £12.41 Per hour (based on experience)

The Ideal Candidate
You’ll bring:
- Solid experience in butchery, ideally in a retail or food production setting
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role (preferred)
- A good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and legal standards
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Motivation to drive sales and maintain high visual standards
- Confidence in coaching, motivating, and guiding a team
- The ability to work under pressure and take initiative

Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of meat cuts to meet company and customer standards
- Set up and maintain the butchery counter with care and attention to quality
- Serve and advise customers with professionalism and a helpful attitude
- Manage stock rotation, deliveries, and relevant paperwork
- Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant work environment
- Support and train team members, fostering a positive, results-driven atmosphere
- Assist with product sampling, promotions, and visual merchandising
- Step in to support the Store or Site Manager when required
- Use basic IT systems to manage operational tasks
