Education and Certification - Required -
(a) First-level university degree in Information Technology; Business Administration; or other relevant field

Skill Sets - Required -
(a) Ability to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
(b) Strong understanding of application development, particularly for low-code/no-code solutions such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
(c) Ability to work closely with business representatives to capture needs and translate them into clear, actionable specifications for IT teams.
(d) Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
(e) Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines in an iterative, agile development environment.
(f) Excellent knowledge of English; good knowledge of another UN language is an asset.

Skill Sets - Desirable -
(a) Ability to work with JIRA and testing software.
(b) Understanding of enterprise relational databases and integration patterns
(c) Familiarity with AI-enabled applications (e.g., chatbots, intelligent assistants, agents) and ability to identify opportunities for their use in business process improvement Experience

Experience - Required - 
A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience and successful performance in:
(a) Business analysis for IT software application improvement and development projects.
(b) IT system requirements and acceptance criteria creation.
(c) Business process optimization and data workflow analysis.
(d) Conducting user interviews and feedback sessions.
(e) Participation in IT solution design process.

Experience - Desirable -
a) Experience with legacy IT systems, and established business workflows

Tasks -
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions (workshops, interviews, surveys) with users and stakeholders.
- Produce detailed, clear, and unambiguous business specifications, functional requirements, and user stories for IT solutions.
- Identify opportunities where Power Platform solutions, automation, or AI-enabled tools could improve efficiency, service delivery, or user experience.
- Liaise with IT teams to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented correctly.
- Support prototyping and proof-of-concept activities.
- Define and document acceptance criteria and support user acceptance testing.

Deliverables - 
a) Business requirements documentation for enhancements to internal processes, services, and systems, including user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
b) Solution specifications for new or improved applications, with emphasis on Power Platform solutions, automations, and AI-enabled tools (e.g., agents, assistants).
c) Process improvement opportunities report, identifying potential areas for innovation and automation aligned with the mission of the Application Incubator Division.
d) Support for user acceptance testing, including test cases, acceptance criteria, and documentation of results.
e) Prototypes or proof-of-concept documentation (where applicable) to demonstrate feasibility of proposed solutions
