The Role

 

Cameco’s business process and applications (BP&A) group implements enterprise-wide business applications, strategies, and processes that facilitate Cameco’s quest for quality and continuous improvement. The team strives to standardize and harmonize process and data and incorporate industry-leading practices selected for business value. Cameco is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join the SAP functional team in support of our asset management and reliability (AM&R) solutions.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Be responsible for user assistance, problem resolution, project, and application implementations in enterprise asset management and reliability.
  • Perform requirements analysis, translate business requirements, and prepare functional design documents to meet the complex needs of the business operations, integrations, risk mitigation, and best practices.
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA enterprise asset management, plant maintenance, and management of change including other AM&R solutions from Bentley and Sigga.  Complete functional testing to deliver the required business processes and analytical or reporting requirements.

Required:  

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related discipline
  • Five to eight years of relevant work experience
  • SAP certification
  • Experience in SAP Enterprise Asset Management / Plant Maintenance
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • SAP configuration and/or testing functionality experience
  • Business process knowledge and continuous improvement process experience

 

 

Recommendation:

 

  • Knowledge and experience in SAP Management of Change (MOC), Production Planning (PP) and SAP Quality Management
  • Ability to configure in other modules of SAP and desire to expand into other areas
  • Prior experience in SAP S4 HANA
  • Project management and business analyst experience
