This Aftermarket Service position is based in Barbil, Odisha, and is responsible for supporting customers across Barbil, Joda, Rourkela, and other locations throughout Odisha and Jharkhand, as required.
The role involves independently managing the erection, commissioning, and troubleshooting of a range of equipment including pumps, valves, screens, cyclones, and iron ore washing plants. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality service delivery and technical support to meet customer expectations and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver on-site services including erection, commissioning, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs for pumps, valves, screens, classifiers, and cyclones, ensuring optimal equipment performance.
Provide hands-on training to customers, enhancing their operational knowledge and ensuring safe and efficient equipment usage.
Drive aftermarket business growth by generating AM spares sales, supporting product trials, and implementing competitor equipment strategies.
Manage maintenance and reliability through effective PPR management, timely troubleshooting, and ensuring 100% pump availability in the assigned region.
Ensure compliance and safety by working closely with site EHS teams, using PPE, and preparing safety documentation such as STAR POWRA, JSA, RA, and hazard identification reports.
Maintain customer satisfaction through timely service reporting, proactive communication, and execution of corrective actions, while also managing vendors, contractors, and service contracts to support revenue generation.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (BE Mech) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
Minimum of 6–8 years’ experience in field service, specifically with pumps and rotating equipment, within a maintenance or industrial setting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
Hands-on experience managing slurry pumps, cyclones, slurry valves, vibrating screens, and mill lining systems.
Proven expertise in the erection and commissioning of pumps and actuated valves.
Familiarity with site-based project activities including equipment lifting, installation, and commissioning procedures.
