DuBois Chemicals is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative in the Bristol, PA area to provide the highest level of service to all internal/external customers. Responsible for processing orders accurately and promptly. Deliver meaningful business results while aligning with customer experience strategies and corporate standards. Demonstrate the company’s core competencies of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity & ethics, lean & safety, and passion to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders accurately across multiple communication channels (phone, fax, email, web, and e-commerce) in accordance with company policies.

  • Maintain detailed customer records, including notes, special requirements, and ensure the correct assignment of ship dates, carriers, and facilities.

  • Respond to incoming calls promptly, meeting established service standards.

  • Address customer and field personnel inquiries related to order status, shipments, pricing, invoices, credits, returns, and product issues.

  • Own the customer experience by providing timely, accurate responses and maintaining approachability and accessibility.

  • Recognize and evaluate the impact of work on both internal and external customers.

  • Resolve problems by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

  • Foster a culture of consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Manage multiple projects with specific deadlines, ensuring efficient prioritization and execution.

  • Develop best practices to support exceptional service levels while identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving solutions.

  • Actively contribute to team, customer, and business success.

  • Strive for excellence in operations and contribute ideas to improve efficiency.

  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction and business performance.

  • Perform all essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service.

  • Strong customer service background required.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective relationships with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to manage shifting priorities/change in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills for timely and thorough problem resolution.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; self-motivated and directed with a pro-active work ethic.

  • Proficient at multi-tasking, managing time and prioritizing with attention to detail.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree business administration preferred.
