Assist vocal music director in all facets of the vocal program, including concerts and performances. Provide an enriching choral experience and encourage students to be able to sing in concert intonation using vocal placement and breathing techniques while attaining a structured and current repertoire of choral music. Assist in direction of the rehearsals and concerts, supervise at all meetings, programs and special events. Keep inventory of all equipment and materials owned by the district.
Time Commitment:
1-2 rehearsals per week, 1-2 hours per rehearsal. Involves evening and weekend obligations for concerts and performances.
Reports to the music teacher and buiding principal.
Salary: Based on experience in accordance with the Profesional Collective Bargaining Agreement.
