Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a retail or food service environment.
  • Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and food safety standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in food safety or barista training.
  • Experience with inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced coffee shop or café setting.
  • Leadership training or coursework related to team management.
  • Customer service excellence awards or recognitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the coffee shop to ensure efficient service and product quality.
  • Manage, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain operational standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Handle cash registers, process transactions accurately, and ensure proper cash management procedures are followed.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare work schedules and manage shift rotations to optimize staffing and coverage.
  • Collaborate with management to implement promotional activities and improve sales performance.
