We have an opening for a friendly, experienced FULL TIME Medical Receptionist, based in Bryn Mawr and FLOATING to our other area offices: Havertown, Reading, West Chester, Wyomissing, and Fort Washington. Reliable transportation is a must for this position.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Weekends Required - every 5th to 6th weekend, 4 hours each day, both Saturday and Sunday (7:00am - 11:00am), with a day-off during the following week. 1 holiday per year
Job Duties:
Greet and check in patients at various clinics or departments.
Answer phones and direct calls to the right staff.
Schedule and confirm appointments for patients.
Update patient records and verify insurance information.
Collect co-pays and payments at check-in or check-out.
Help with referrals and authorizations when needed.
Support multiple teams by filling in where needed.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Follow privacy rules and keep patient information confidential (HIPAA).
Learn and adapt quickly to different office workflows.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or GED, required.
· Two years of MEDICAL call center or receptionist experience is required. ·
· EMR experience preferred
