At Chamonix Casino Hotel, every guest experience begins with trust, and that trust starts in the Cage. As the Cage Manager, you’ll oversee all Cage operations and staff, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of all cash and financial transactions. You’ll lead by example, balancing regulatory compliance with the personalized guest service that defines Chamonix. Your leadership will help protect company assets, develop team talent, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality and accountability.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of all Casino Cage locations, ensuring efficient and accurate financial transactions.
  2. Safeguard company assets by maintaining strict adherence to internal control procedures, the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and all applicable regulations.
  3. Ensure all Cage transactions are properly verified, documented, and recorded in compliance with established policies.
  4. Oversee daily and weekly cash requirements to maintain smooth and secure operations.
  5. Manage and audit all aspects of the check-cashing process, including application processing, NSF tracking, and compliance documentation.
  6. Hire, train, coach, and develop Cage team members to deliver consistent accuracy, professionalism, and guest service excellence.
  7. Schedule staff effectively to meet operational and business needs; perform as a backup cashier as required.
  8. Monitor and enhance guest service within Cage operations, addressing guest concerns promptly and courteously.
  9. Investigate and report any Cage variances or irregularities to appropriate leadership.
  10. Maintain open, professional communication with other departments to ensure smooth operational coordination.
  11. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that promotes collaboration and morale.
  12. Ensure compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, and all company policies.
  13. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of casino Cage or Count Room experience, including supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Cage operations, accounting principles, and applicable gaming laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a high-volume, customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; maintains professionalism under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent education and experience accepted.
  • Three (3)+ years of recent, related casino experience required.
  • Two (2)+ years of management or supervisory experience in gaming operations.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid State of Colorado Gaming License. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Essential duties involve performing physical exertion such as frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, and pushing various materials, equipment, and supplies in order to perform duties. These physical demands are required frequently for several hours. Sitting and/or standing throughout an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties may require lifting up to 30 pounds.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$70,000 - $75,000 annually based on experience
