POSITION SUMMARY:

The position is responsible for monitoring, creating, and handling a variety of detailed tasks and projects that support the Vendor Compliance area.  In addition, this position supports the New York office with any vendor related issues and maintains and updates the B2B website as needed.  This individual must have a strong expertise in technology and a strong knowledge of operations. This position will take a lead role in directing workflow in the Vendor Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Corrections areas and provide leadership when the department Supervisor is absent.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Under the leadership of the department Supervisor – will guide and direct the workflow in the Vendor Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Corrections areas of 15 to 20 employees.
• Approves, in the absence of the Supervisor, all 3^rd party corrections.  
• Uses various MS, Lognet, and Mainframe applications to enter, gather, and analyze data for 3^rd party costs and vendor chargebacks.  Reporting includes costs and vendor compliance.  Individuals create, prepare, and perform extensive analysis of both departmental and corporate reports and information.  This information is utilized by various individuals internally and externally by the organization.       
• Communicates and works with internal and external customers on providing necessary information to improve packaging processes and corrections.  Based on the information obtained this individual develops, monitors, revises and distributes packaging manual updates.    
• Updates, via MS Word and HTML, the b2b website.
• Assists management team with other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be comfortable working independently with minimal direction.  
• Must be proficient in MS applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.  Able to create, edit, and manipulate data in each of the applications.  
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Individual should be able to analyze and evaluate data and make effective decisions regarding the information.   Able to guide and direct workflow in the Vendor Compliance area. 
• Excellent communication skills; both written and oral. Individual communicates with both internal and external customers and guides Material Handlers and Vendors.
• Project Management – Able to manage multiple projects and tasks from beginning to end.   Must be able to evaluate and be proactive in determining the project’s status.
• Good interpersonal skills to build working relationships with all levels of employees and vendors.
• Able to analyze large amounts of data related to vendor compliance re-works, catalog insertions, and purchasing data.
