We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our school-based team. In this role, you’ll work closely with teachers and therapists to provide direct support to students with special needs, helping them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

What You’ll Do:
Provide one-on-one and small group support with classwork, tests, and activities
Reinforce learning concepts under teacher or therapist supervision
Support students in following IEP and behavior plans, including ABA strategies
Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, playgrounds, and on field trips
Assist students with personal needs such as mobility, toileting, and self-care
Foster a safe and respectful learning environment while maintaining professional relationships with staff and students
Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
Perform other duties as assigned by the director to support student success
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Associate’s Degree (required)
Experience: Prior work with children or individuals with special needs (preferred but not required)
Skills: Patience, compassion, adaptability, and strong communication skills
Required Clearances & Training:
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
Act 34 State Criminal History Clearance
Act 114 FBI Clearance (DOE)
Act 168 Clearance
Mandated Reporter Training
CPR/First Aid Certification
Recent Physical/TB Test
